This front office operations program provides students with professional skills on how to operate at the front office in various types of hotels, hospitality industry and corporate office settings. The course equips students with knowledge of front office operations, customer service, communication skills, first aid, and other guest handling skills.
 
The aim of this course is to introduce the trainees to the systems and procedures required for front office operations, customer service management and support services. Students will develop knowledge and skills in reception procedures as well as understanding the key skills, techniques and approaches that relate to efficient and effective front office procedures and the applicability of different procedures for a range of corporate and hospitality outlets.
 
Skills acquired include but are not limited to, front office procedures, check-in, check-out processes, reservation management, guest interaction and customer service, effective communication and guest service, telephone etiquette and handling, record keeping and administrative tasks, documentation and report writing, problem solving and conflict resolution etc.
 

COURSE LEVEL:

Certificate – Level 3

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

KCPE or KCSE Certificate (Any Grade)

DURATION:

Three Months: One (1) Term

EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION BODY:

TVET CDACC – (Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council)
 
INTAKES: Date 1st  – 5th  Date of Every Month
