Certificate in Health Services Support – Advanced HCA

The Health Services Support level 4 (equivalent to and can also be referred to as advanced healthcare assistant (HCA) / advanced caregiver course) programs are designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for entry-level positions in various healthcare settings. The program typically covers a range of topics essential for supporting healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality patient care.

Health Services Support qualification consists of competencies that a learner must achieve to provide services in the hospital departments, as well as provide services to patients in healthcare facilities, hospices and homes.

A fully trained and qualified Health Services Support Assistant is fully equipped to work under and with nurses as a nursing assistant, doctors, and other allied healthcare professionals in provision of quality nursing care services, patient treatment and care supportive services and working as part of a larger team to deliver quality and comprehensive health, supportive nursing and patient care services.

COURSE LEVEL:

Certificate – Level 4

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

KCSE Certificate (Any Grade)

DURATION:

Six (6) Months; Two (2) Terms

INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION:

The Level 4 Certificate Is Equivalent to and Can Also Be Referred to As Advanced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) / Advanced Caregiver Course 

EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION BODY:

TVET CDACC – (Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council) and/or

Additional Canada or USA (United States of America) International Exam Options

SPONSORSHIP: Enroll for this Six (6) months Health Services Support Course and get an Additional Sponsored Course: Health Care Assistant (HCA) / Caregiver Course 

(You pay for one course; we sponsor and train you another complimentary free of charge)!

INTAKES: January, March, May, July, September, November
