COURSE OVERVIEW
The certificate in Health Services Support level 5 (equivalent to and can also be referred to as certified nursing assistant (CNA) is designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for entry-level positions in various healthcare settings. The program typically covers a range of topics essential for supporting healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality patient care.
Health Services Support qualification consists of competencies that a learner must achieve to provide services in the hospital departments, as well as provide services to patients in healthcare facilities, hospices and homes.
A fully trained and qualified Health Services Support Assistant is fully equipped to work under and with nurses as a nursing assistant, doctors, and other allied healthcare professionals in provision of quality nursing care services, patient treatment and care supportive services and working as part of a larger team to deliver quality and comprehensive health, supportive nursing and patient care services.

KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) And Above or Health Services Support Level 4 Qualification
