The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Health Services Support (HSS) Level 5 program is a one (1) year course designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical nursing assistant skills necessary in various healthcare settings. The program typically covers a range of topics essential for supporting nurses, healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality patient care.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification consists of competencies that a learner must achieve to provide services in the hospital departments, as well as provide services to patients in healthcare facilities, hospices and homes under the guidance and supervision of licensed nurses and other allied healthcare professionals.
A fully trained and qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is fully equipped to work under and with nurses as a nursing assistant, doctors, and other allied healthcare professionals in provision of quality nursing care services, patient treatment and care supportive services and working as part of a larger team to deliver quality and comprehensive health, supportive nursing and patient care services.
There are also alternative Four (4) months or Six (6) months programs for international Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Certificate (International Certification): KCSE Mean Grade D- (Minus) and above or
Health Services Support Level 5: KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) And Above
DURATION:
International certification: Four (4) or Six (6) Months or
Health Services Support Level 5: One (1) Year; Three (3) Terms

TVET CDACC – (Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council) and/or
Additional Canada or USA (United States of America) International Exam Options
